FEI jumping World Challenge in Walvis Bay

The Walvis Bay Equestrian Centre will host this years’ Leg 2 of the FEI Jumping World Challenge from 27-29 September.

The FEI Jumping World Challenge is run under the watchful eye of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) and offers our local riders the opportunity to measure their skills against riders from all across the world. It is divided into 3 different categories according to height and level of difficulty, CAT C (1.00m/1.10m), CAT B (1.10m/1.20m) and CAT A (1.20/ 1.30m).
We had a very successful FEI Jumping Challenge season last year with more riders than usual competing in the different categories. Namibia’s most successful riders were Jayd Bassi-Hanssen and M&A Caskari coming firstin CAT C and Kordula Voigts and Zonjati Bon Gondolier ending 3rd also in CAT C.
Besides the Jumping World Challenge, the WBEC is also hos-ting the Bronze Tour of the International Children’s Classics. This event is similar to the Jumping Challenge, but is only for children up to the age of 14 Years.
The Walvis Bay Equestrian Centre invites all Sport enthusiasts to join them this weekend and to come see what show jumping is all about.
