Bike stolen in Walvis Bay found in Omusati Region

One week after a quadbike was stolen in Walvis Bay the police, through its intelligence unit, managed to recover it in the Omusati Region and arrest one suspect. According to deputy commissioner Erastus Iikuyu, regional crime investigations coordinator for Erongo, the red quadbike, valued at N$50 000, was reported stolen between 7 and 9 April at CPP in Walvis Bay. “The suspect and the bike are already brought back to the Erongo region,” Iikuyu said. The suspect is expected to appear in the Walvis Bay Magistrates Court today.
